Saiosh is a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) which is committed to the prevention and reduction of work place incidents and accidents in South Africa.

Delta Health and Safety is a registered and paid up member of SAIOSH. We are committed to the same values and conduct as Saiosh.

Specifically we are committed to and hold the following values:

• Commitment to prevent and reduce any risk to health that arises from work place hazard exposure, whether in short or long term
• Commitment to prevention and reduction of work place incidents and accidents
• Supporting Occupational Health and Safety Management and Practices among our clients.

• Supporting the development of occupational safety and health industry in South Africa
• Supporting the advancement of the science and art of occupational safety and health
• Providing guidance in fields of occupational safety and health with particular regards to the best choice of and use of Personal Protective Equipment.

Occupational Health and Safety Practitioners help to promote health and safety practices in the work place and are trained to recognise hazards related to health and safety. They understand how to assess the risks that might arise from these hazards and they know how to control these risks. As suppliers of PPE, Delta aims to support the Occupational Health and Safety industry by demonstrating technical expertise and competence in the choice of, use of and maintenance of related safety and health equipment, to clients, suppliers and any other stake holders.

About Saiosh

Saiosh is committed to the upgrading of the professional skills of its members by keeping them updated and informed on the latest developments in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.

Seminars and workshops on a wide range of Health and Safety topics are held on a regular basis for its members.

Saiosh acts as a lobby group for Occupational Health and Safety legislation and standards and for this purpose interacts and liaises with the Department of Employment and Labour and other Government Bodies on behalf of its members.
