The highest-SNR earplug or earmuff won’t provide the expected protection if it doesn’t fit or isn’t used correctly. To make sure your team are getting the protection they need, you need to know the personal attenuation rating (PAR) of each one. Our system saves time as the dual microphone measures both ears at the same time. The process is extremely quick and easy, taking only five seconds to measure the dB protection inside both ears. The software is seamless to integrate, and the results can be printed and saved electronically for future reference and comparisons.
Finding employee’s PAR is the first step in a successful hearing conservation programme. Once measured you can determine if the protection they’re using the right hearing protection and ensure they are trained on using it properly. We engineer our hearing protection to be validation compatible by probing the plugs and earmuff cushions for use with the system. You can test the exact 3M hearing protection you use on the system and train on the actual products you use with specially probed versions.
The kit is provided as a total system including software and is packed in a compartmentalised impact resistant carry case.
